Semi-permanent makeup created by using a hand-held disposable tool to deposit pigment into fine surface strokes giving the illusion of a natural hair-like pattern.
Although Microblading is a tattoo, it will gradually fade over time.
After your initial appointment we will book you in for a touch-up 4-8 weeks later.
Following the touch-up Microblading can be redone annually to maintain the look you're after!
Your initial appointment should take 2.5-3 hours from start to finish, this includes the brow mapping and full procedure.
The follow-up appointment 4-8 weeks later should take roughly 2 hours.
The pain should be mild to none.
After your brows are mapped out a topical numbing cream is applied and left for 20 minutes followed by another round of numbing half way through the procedure.
If you require extra numbing during your appointment do not hesitate to ask!
Generally speaking Microblading will heal better and last longer for those with dry or normal skin as opposed to oily skin.
This doesn't mean if you have oily skin you can't have Microblading done but just be aware that the strokes can widen during the healing process creating a blurrier look.
Directly after your appointment there may be minor redness and swelling and be aware that the initial color will fade up to 40% after healing before your touch-up.
Day 2-5 - expect your eyebrows to be very dark and solid.
Day 5-10 - they will start flaking and losing the initial shape
DO NOT PICK OR TOUCH THE FLAKES! - this will cause you to remove pigment and lose lines.
Day 10-15 - after the flakes are gone your brows will look SUPER light and appear to be almost gone.
Day 15-30 - the pigment will start to resurface but may be a little patchy.
